Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in America. Her best-known role is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC series Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress on a Drama Series. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward and Jean Ward, she also appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in preparation for her first job before moving her family in Ohio. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked at the theatre in the Chicago area for a few years, before attempting her hand at television and films. Anna made her debut in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as a guest star in a number of television shows and films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue till the latter part of the 90's. She was then cast in a regular role in The Practice as Jean Ward in The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood for the part of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Gunn also appeared in the Deadwood movie as well as Sully. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In addition, she was a part of Numbered Day, which is a podcast made up of four plays. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler tends to be the central theme of the story that is told in Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship as well as its eventual collapse echoing the same storyline of Walter White's last years of his life.
